Best movies
CIRCLE (2015) - I loved this movie when I was in 7th grade, and even now I can confirm it is still a very good film. I love the psychological aspect of it and how basically everything is called into question in determining who should survive the circle.
LAST NIGHT IN SOHO (2021) - I LOVE this movie. It's what got me into Anya Taylor Joy, she's so fucking beautiful ESPECIALLY in this movie. She literally outshines everyone else in every scene of the movie- her acting is perfection. I was wishing the best for them. I love the concept of things not being nearly as perfect as they seem, and the themes of feminism in the film that don't need to be in your face to be effective.
HEATHER'S (1989) - Pretty common pick, but it is a cult classic. I first saw it with my parents and I know why people like it so much. Am I the only one who is really sad that Heather Chandler is dead? Must just be the fact that I think she's like the prettiest mean girl character ever.
FREEDOM WRITERS (2007) - This may be my top movie of all time. It's one of those movies that never gets old, no matter how many times you watch it. It's such a great movie and has such a beautiful message without coming across as preachy. There are no filler characters here- they are developed so well and have their own personalities. 11/10 film.
CORALINE (2009) - I LOVED Coraline as a child, and I still do today. Usually I can't stand animated movies but Coraline's animation is so interesting and not super modern makes it eye candy. Not the mention how well done the plot is and just everything is so new and really makes you think, which if you ask me is what makes a great movie.
